Recruiting rankings aren't an exact science as recruits are being judged off of High School film often times against inferior opponents. Nonetheless, LSU Football holds the Nation's third ranked recruiting class trailing only Ohio State and Alabama. On3 readjusted their recruiting rankings with some positive news for LSU and some bad news.

According to On3 for most of this cycle LSU had held two five star commitments from DJ Pickett and Bryce Underwood. The Tigers now hold a third as Harlem Berry finally gets the bump to a five star commit according to On3's latest rankings. Berry doesn't move up or down as he remains their 17th ranked player but, five players were added five star nods as they build up toward their final 32 5 star rankings.

Given how much LSU has struggled at the running back position it's exciting to get a back of Berry's ability onto campus. Next season the Tigers will field a running back room of Kaleb Jackson, Caden Durham, Harlem Berry, Ju'Juan Johnson, and JT Lindsey which is exciting for the future.

DJ Pickett remains the Nation's third ranked recruit according to On3 and the top ranked defensive recruit overall. The Tigers will get DJ Pickett back onto campus this weekend against UCLA and he'll play a massive role in getting other recruits to commit to LSU.

The Tigers still hold the Nation's top overall recruit as Bryce Underwood remains the Nation's top overall recruit.

Outside of the five stars, Carius Curne is the 30th ranked recruit by On3 which puts him in a position to be a five star when On3 reaches its mark of 32 five stars. Kade Phillips moved up from 65th to 53rd and will have an outside shot at five star status.

Tyler Miller dropped from being the 40th ranked player in the class to the 56th ranked player in the class. The same could be said for Jesse Harrold who falls from 66th to 82nd, Zion Williams who falls from 86th to 113th, Derek Meadows who falls from 115th to 151st, TaRon Francis falling from 194th to 209th

Falling out of the top 300 were JD LaFleur and Brandon Brown who were ranked near the bottom of the top 300 after the last update.

Recent LSU offer recipient Ladarian Clardy fell from the 199th ranking to 205th ahead of his commitment on Saturday. In-State flip candidates Jacob Bradford and Reshad Sterling both remain outside the top 300.
