The LSU Tigers return to Tiger Stadium after picking up a massive win over the South Carolina Gamecocks. Now with momentum on their side, the LSU Football team is set to host a massive recruiting weekend which could lead to LSU eventually over taking Ohio State and Alabama for the top class in 2025.

The Tigers will be 2 for 2 when it comes to hosting elite quarterback recruit Elijah Haven. The top rated recruit in the 2027 recruiting class has emerged early on as the quarterback that every school wants and he's right in LSU's backyard. The Tigers have struggled to get a quarterback on board in the 2026 class as Bryce Underwood blocks their path to the field but, 2027 quarterbacks would seemingly only be blocked for one season.

DJ Pickett is the biggest LSU Commit heading to Baton Rouge this weekend. The Florida Native will attend three games this season and this weekend's game will be the first game he sees in Baton Rouge. The Tigers need to continue to impress as Hometown Miami continues to push getting him on campus for official visits.

It'll help that LSU will have a few of Pickett's potential teammates on campus as Harlem Berry, Kade Phillips, JT Lindsey, Charles Ross, Carius Curne, Phillip Wright, and Zion Williams on campus.

Mario Nash will also come to campus this weekend as he is a recruit that LSU has been trying to land for a long time getting him onto campus twice before he committed to Mississippi State. Brad Davis has a massive class but, landing one of the better offensive tackles in the class would be a massive boost and a massive help in replacing Will Campell and Emery Jones.

A few weeks ago we talked about the incredible story of Tobi Haastrup who LSU along with several other power schools offered after his first career high school game. The Tigers will get their first true crack at Haastrup this weekend as he'll take the trip to Baton Rouge. After just three High School games, Haastrup has risen to the Nation's 288th-best player and the 27th-ranked edge rusher in the 2025 signing class.

This weekend will be a family affair as well as Colton Nussmeier (2027 QB), Zach Weeks (2026 LB), Darryus McKinley (2026 DL), and Blaine and Jacob Bradford (2025 and 2026 Safeties) will all be on recruiting visits in Baton Rouge this weekend.

Before the game even kicks off, LSU could have another commit in the 2025 class when safety Ladarian Clardy announces his commitment. The Tigers extend a scholarship offer earlier this week and Clardy tweeted that it was a dream scholarship offer but, the Tigers may have jumped in too late. We'll see if LSU was able to do enough if not, Clardy is a player we'll be watching until National Signing Day.

Massive Weekend for filling out recruiting classes

Every weekend the LSU Football team has been able to get recruits on campus under Brian Kelly has been a successful weekend. As long as the LSU Football team wins, massive recruiting weekends like the Tigers will host this weekend are always massive for building out a signing class. There won't be a ton of 2025 recruits on campus this weekend but, this weekend will be massive in building LSU's 2026 signing class which currently ranks ninth in the country.
